Inauguration of the Chinese Language Class for international students was held in the Faculty of Foreign Languages on 3rd September 2018.  Prof. Chen Xiao, President of Haikou University of Economics presided over the opening with a short welcoming speech. He gave an introduced to the university and encouraged the students to get used to the campus life as soon as possible, study hard, and try their best to pass the Chinese language examination earlier so that they will be able to continue their study in HUE with government scholarship.

Prof. Chen Jiang, Advisor to the President, Prof. Yang Changjun, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ms. Wang Dan, Deputy Director of the International Office and other officers and teachers attended the opening ceremony.

This year, 19 international students come to HUE for the one year Chinese language training course.  They are from Thailand, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Uzbekistan. Some of the students have already mastered elementary Chinese. 

Students introduced themselves in Chinese at the opening. They said that they would study hard and live up to the expectations of their families and schools.
