Introduction to the Office of International Students

     
     The Office of International Students is a branch of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation (the Office of International Students is hereinafter referred to as the Office). Its job responsibilities are:

     1.The Office is in charge of the recruitment of international undergraduates, applying for Hainan Government Scholarship, and obtaining legal student visa and student residence permit from the Exit-Entry Division of Haikou Public Security Bureau for the admitted international students.

     2.The Office is in charge of organizing all colleges or schools of the university to review the annual scholarship of each academic year for international students who have won the provincial government scholarships, reporting the annual review to the Education Department of Hainan Province and applying for the annual scholarship of the next year.
     3.The Chinese language teaching and research section of the College of International Trade and Foreign Languages is affiliated to the Office of International Students, which is responsible for the enrollment of international Chinese Language students, Chinese Language teaching, daily management and organization of language students in their Chinese proficiency test (HSK).
